One of our Favorite FREE activities. Seattle’s downtown public library is a great place to duck into if the weather turns on you. There’s enough art and culture here to consider it an impromptu museum, and the kids will love the huge doll house. Even if you’re not a local, you can sit down in the kids section with some books to just chill out before continuing on with your day. Bathrooms have changing tables and kid-sized amenities.

Cool birdcage-shape building

My child loves coming here. They have nice art exhibits, puzzles, dollhouse, and lots of great programs for young kids. The talking eggheads between floors are neat recommend checking them out from the escalator.
